Inspired by Alice
Designed for the Rooms of Blooms 2026 Floral Exhibition
Where curiosity blossoms, wonder flourishes, and the ordinary world gives way to something just a little more magical.

Tucked beneath warm candlelight, this setting feels discovered rather than designed. Rich, earth-toned linens set the stage for an intimate gathering, while layers of taper and pillar candles cast a gentle glow that invites guests to linger. Finished with mossy details, mixed rattan and upholstered seating and an heirloom-style lamp, this tablescape captures an eclectic, playful spirit that feels as though it may have emerged from Wonderland itself. Like stepping through the rabbit hole into a garden where time softens and imagination blooms, it echoes the curiosity, charm, and dreamlike beauty of Alice’s journey into a world where the ordinary becomes enchantingly extraordinary.

The Florals
At the center, a garden-inspired arrangement overflows with airy white hyacinth, white daffodils, white butterfly ranunculus, white muscari, and rice flower, woven with cheerful notes of soft yellow freesia. The florals are designed to feel freshly gathered and full of movement.
The Succulent Chairs
Assorted succulents (yes! they are real!) and fern chairs blur the line between garden and furniture, bringing unexpected texture to the seating itself. These succulents have been nurtured for months before making their journey to the Paine.
These chairs will be available for purchase following the event. Details here

The Table Settings
& Accent Pieces
Chosen for this tablescape are heirloom pieces that complement the deep chocolate & olive tones of the linen and floral accents. A mix of vintage and modern china adds interest and perhaps a bit of nostalgia to each place setting.

Royalton Antigua Gold, a mid-century modern gold flatware is more than just an accent. It symbolizes the magic of transformation - old turned new again - and is symbolic of everyday moments that shimmer with possibility.
